The Neolithic artifacts in the area under study offer the possibility to trace activities from the Rössen culture to the Early Bronze Age. Different types of arrowheads, axes, celts, daggers and sickels correspondingly prove activities in this region starting with the Rössen Culture (c. 4900-4200 BC) and ending with the Bell Beaker Culture (c. 2900-2000 BC). Of special importance is the utilisation of different stone types, especially the production of Kieselgeoden-celts and their trade over distances of up to 150 km by the TRB Westgroup.
