The Ethnic Question in Spanish Archaeology: A Science-Historical Perspective

Published: 2011-01-01 | DOI: 10.54799/JIEE6819

Abstract

In this article the example of Spanish Archaeology is used to analyse the ethnic question from the perspective of the history of science. The aim is to gain as comprehensive a picture as possible of the evolution of this subject both in terms of academic research and also in terms of the impact and perception of its arguments in the wider public. On the one hand, this can lead to a critical use of earlier research, and on the other hand it can also provide new impetus for future studies.
