General specifications

EAZ publishes both regular and special issues. While regular issues cover a range of topics in line with the journal’s scope, special issues are dedicated to a specific theme and coordinated by guest editors in collaboration with the EAZ editorial team.

We accept contributions in several formats:

• Regular research papers (with external double-blind peer review)
• Open section: e.g., for experimental and creative formats, discussion pieces, commentaries, conference reports (not peer-reviewed)
• Book reviews and annotations (not peer-reviewed)

Publication policy

EAZ is published online first in an Open Access free-of-charge version available on the EAZ website and in a printed version that can be purchased on demand.
